About us

Founded in 2017 by Francis Finot and Isabelle Mouche, GenEvolutioN brings together over 40 years of expertise in toxicology as a spin-off from Sanofi and Covance’s preclinical center.

Located in the Seqens ‘lab on Porcheville Scientific Park, GenEvolutioN operates in a state-of-the-art 1200 m² BSL2+ laboratory, designed to keep pace with advancements in biological and technological research.

The company is GLP-compliant, inspected by the French Health Authority (ANSM) for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices, and holds certification from COFRAC for food, chemicals and biocides ensuring the highest standards in regulatory compliance.

Dr Isabelle MOUCHE

After 10 years of experience as a scientific manager and study director in genetic and cellular toxicology, co-founder of GenEvolution for an activity focused on in vitro toxicology and cytogenetics with the realization of innovative tests but also consulting

Catherine DROUET

After 32 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, the Industrial Quality Assurance Officer ensures that processes and products comply with the required quality standards, implements quality assurance procedures, and conducts internal audits to ensure the compliance of processes with aanalyses quality data and proposes improvements .

Dr Gautier DECOCK

25 years experience in analytical science and chemistry as Business leader managing the operational, economical and financial performance of highly regulated scientific and technical services with an entrepreneurial spirit. Has joint GenEvolutioN in 2024 to accelerate the development of the company.

Jean François HESSMANN

Jean-François has an extensive experience in regulatory quality with over 25 years of experience in developing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) across various industries. He specialises in GxP compliance and leverages his certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt expertise to apply operational excellence principles within Quality Assurance frameworks, driving efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Dr Corina CUCEU

Five years as Study Director & Scientific manager within GenEvolutioN. Highly specialized in cytogenetic on preclinical studies in toxicology and radiobiology, being a research engineer at the CEA during 5 years.

Deborah BELLET

Master degree in Neuroscience with 7 years of experience as enginer and study manager , actually Study director in toxicology (GLP and non-GLP), in direct contact with the customer.

Francis FINOT

After 30 years of experience in the CRO and pharmaceutical industry with a solid background in Genetic Toxicology as Study Director, GLP Study Director in Genetic Toxicology, and in vitro Toxicologist specialist for screening test. Was in 2017 the founder of GenEvolutioN.

Catherine GUICHARD

35 years in preclinical research within the pharmaceutical industry (Sanofi, Covance) as a scientific project manager provides a relevant foundation for this biotech with future customers and new collaborations.
