About us

Founded in 2017 by Francis Finot and Isabelle Mouche, GenEvolutioN brings together over 40 years of expertise in toxicology as a spin-off from Sanofi and Covance’s preclinical center.

Located in the Seqens ‘lab on Porcheville Scientific Park, GenEvolutioN operates in a state-of-the-art 1200 m² BSL2+ laboratory, designed to keep pace with advancements in biological and technological research.

The company is GLP-compliant, inspected by the French Health Authority (ANSM) for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices, and holds certification from COFRAC for food, chemicals and biocides ensuring the highest standards in regulatory compliance.

After 32 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, the Industrial Quality Assurance Officer ensures that processes and products comply with the required quality standards, implements quality assurance procedures, and conducts internal audits to ensure the compliance of processes with aanalyses quality data and proposes improvements .

Jean François HESSMANN

Jean-François has an extensive experience in regulatory quality with over 25 years of experience in developing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) across various industries. He specialises in GxP compliance and leverages his certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt expertise to apply operational excellence principles within Quality Assurance frameworks, driving efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Jean-François has an extensive experience in regulatory quality with over 25 years of experience in developing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) across various industries.
